MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE FOR TODAY
Merry Christmas Everyone. Instead of doing a Motivational Quote today....I am giving motivational advice on having a successful meal if you haven't already had it. Use a small 6 " or smaller plate. Take a teaspoon of whatever you want. If you want dessert eat just a bite or a very super tiny piece. Remember this is only 1 day. Also take a walk if the weather is permitting after your meal to help burn some of the calories you ate. And most of all....be grateful for the time spent with your loved ones and family. Have a very Merry Christmas and if you gain a pound or so....work real hard the next couple of days to get it off.

Great advice. I ate turkey and ham, green beans, a small roll, then a spoon of brocalli casserole, sweet potato casserole and 2 different deserts. What I didn't eat was dressing, scallopped potatoes, potato salad, chinese noodle salad, and 4 other cakes and pies. I did great.

Sounds like you did very well with choices. I know it's easy to get into the "poor me" syndrome and feel deprived. That's why I decided to post this to maybe help others out to know a bite of something you are wanting is better than going crazy on something and gaining a lot of weight over one meal. Glad you did good. I did also.
