Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

Good Morning LW's!!  Is anyone else having trouble with the OH site?   I keep getting a warning and I have to try posting several times.  I did send them a technical problem form.

I am sitting here looking out my disgustingly dirty sliding glass door and the bright sun shine and what's left of the snow.  I can actually see green grass in spots.  I can't imagine Christmas without snow but It would be ok with me if the snow disappeared until next Christmas...LOL.

DH and I are going to the Cheer Coaches Christmas party and we each have to take a white elephant $15.00 gift for the exchange.  I can't take DH shopping for it because he would want to buy something crazy or stinky.    DH might be crazy but I am pretty boring and was thinking of postage stamps....lol.  Any suggestions for a good gift we aren't allowed to bring gift cards?

Yes the site's been bad all day.

For $15 I think I'd take some wine.  I'd never use the stamps as nearly everything's electronic these days. ;-)

I'm getting take away tonight - yippee!!  I was suffering serious withdrawal symptoms mail

We did kind of a white elephant gift exchange at my family's christmas party this year.  It was alot of fun.  Each adult was to bring 4 five dollar gifts, then we had a game where we went around and picked gifts then we could steal them from each other.  we have decided we will do this every year..  One of the gifts I got was this hideous plaster pineapple thing.  that is going back in the exchange next year!   The gifts people liked the most were food related  like candy, coffee, etc  people also liked fancy coffee mugs.

B oatmeal, egg, half banana

L vegetable salad with beef and sunflower seeds, pickled egg

S greek yogurt, bran buds, craisins, walnuts

D probably leftovers

S popcorn if I have calories left

miles no, fluids  aiming for 12 cups,  vites on track

I will be glad when all the christmas food is gone!  One more family event tomorrow then we are done.

Hi Roz

I did lottery tickets (Gina's idea) for Christmas last year and they were a big hit.  People kept stealing them from each other.

Eating isn't good today...

B - leftover egg/sausage mix

L - 1/2 steak wrap on wheat tortilla and some french fries.  I wish I knew it came with them or I'd have ordered a substitute.

D - the other 3 wings.  That will be it.

Vits:  yep!

Water:  ok

I tried to post this morning but never could.  Seems fine now.

I like the ideas so far.  Coffee, good cookies, movie tickets sound pretty good.

I loaded the ponies up this morning and headed to SC to drive.  It was a little warmer and the ground wasn't frozen (hard on the ponies when it is).  It was a great day, even if it did start raining AGAIN when I got home and was unloading the trailer.  Oh well, good drives with both ponies.

Hi Roz,

We used to do the gift swap game at Christmas.  I hated it because I had such a hard time deciding on a gift that I thought someone would like.  I told them this year we were not participating, but then all our plans went out the window..and we didn't have our big family Christmas all together.

We got home after lunch today and I cooked all afternoon.  I need to get back to cooking good things for me to eat so I will have something and not have to think about it too much!!

S:  Decaf Coffee

S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
S:  Cauliflower Bread Sticks - not the best things
D:  Chicken Crepes
