Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

I'm sorry I've been missing in action!!   Thanks to all who have been covering for me...I really appreciate it!!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!!

That darn Mrs. Clause put  "bit oh honey's" in my stocking....what in the world was she (I) thinking!!!!  Between that and the Toasted Almonds (at least there is some protein in those) I have been on a sugar high.  I'm hoping today will be better.

I have such a fun couple of days!  Christmas was wonderful!!!  DH and I both took Thursday and Friday off so my house is cleaned, most of the gifts have been put away, yesterday I made some exchanges and picked out some tops without having to pay for them (that was fun).  It is soooo great being able to go to the sale racks and get more things than I am returning.  Before WLS I could only exchange for another size because there wasn't anything to choose from. I've been trying to find a watch but not having any luck with that.  Any watch that I really like I can't see the numbers without putting on my glasses (crappy getting old). I need one with really big numbers but my wrist is just way to tiny now...what a problem to have ...right...lol?

DH and I don't have any eating plans today yet.  He just got up and ate a couple of donuts and went back to bed and I've got one Protein drink in but not sure what the rest of the day will bring.  Tomorrow our DGD turns six and she wants big girl towels so I've got to do a little more shopping for our Princess.

Happy Anniversary!!!!!  Enjoy going out with your DH this evening!!!!!

We hit about 45 degrees today.  DH drove me around to I could return/exchange a few things and it was great not having to wear a coat.

Sounds Good!!

I got tired of my protein coffees too and took of about a year, and do them "hit and miss" now.  I have noticed a difference in my hair (falling out) since I've stopped.  Haven't checked my labs though (bad me - need to do this!).

I've started back with my nectar fruity protein drinks - I really like them and don't know why I stopped with them.

I didn't start protein shake 'til I was 8 or 9 months out and my protein levels have tended to be good.  I'm getting labs done quarterly now, which I like as I'll be able to make changes early.  I don't plan on quitting the shakes for long, just a small break.  Plus egg is nice and bio-available/easily absorbable.

I'll be 18 months out in January and thankfully I've not lost any hair and I still have to get it thinned at the hairdressers kiss  I will be careful though, posting what I eat forces me to total my protein everyday and it sometimes forces me to ensure I purchase extra cheese, etc.

I use the magnify part of mirror to do my eyebrows.  Apparently I have been too busy to do them because they were awful today....lol.  Returned 2 watches today and giving up looking for one.  I guess I will continue using the clock on my phone.

I love boring so eating the same thing every day doesn't bother me at all.  I wouldn't completely give up your protein coffee.  Maybe try drinking it a different time of day.

Yes I need a magnifying mirror - no doubt I'll buy one in the not too distant future. ;-)
