The chat room was one of my first experiences on OH and was a disaster. Everyone was really mean but I didn't give up until I found our LW's and I have no desire to move on.
If you find it's a good environment let us know.

I'm sorry no one replied to your post. All of the regulars probably didn't know you were asking for help. I got an e-mail showing your post. I'm guessing you must have replied to my post. If you make a new post I'm positive you will get some encouragement. Our LW's are wonderful caring people who are good at encouraging. You will never get bashed on this board.
I'm sorry you gained weight and lost a relationship.
I'm 5 years out too. Were you at a normal BMI before you gained the 30 lbs. back?
You still have your tool so you need to get back to working it. I recently cut out carbs and sugary foods and lost 5 lbs. very easily.
The only way to lose/maintain with the RNY is eating/drinking Protein. Do you drink Whey Protein drinks? A lot of us drink over 80 grams of Protein a day. We also eat numerous small meals and snacks instead of eating big meals. At 5 years out I still can't eat more that 3 oz. of meat and a 1/3 cup of something else at a time.
If you eat big meals try to cut back and eat small protein meals every few hours. That might get you losing again.
Post on Menus and Miles. Just being accountable to my LW's helps me stay on track.
Do you enter the foods you eat in one of the many sites out there that calculate everything for you. I use fitday.com but a lot of others use the one on the obesityhelp site. If you don't then it's a good idea to start. It might get you excited again.
