Menus and Miles Sunday Dec. 22nd
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Sorry I was MIA yesterday!! Thanks Price for starting the post...!! DH had to work in the morning curled up on my bed finishing up my list and checking out the stats on Bluetooths for SIL. This is his first Christmas with us so I don't want him to be disappointed. His boss left them come home after they got the job down so I had to get ready to go really fast. It has been raining terrible here so he drove me from store to store buying and returning.
Last night we went to Christmas Land with DD#3 and family. It's a huge Christmas store that sells Artificial Christmas trees, decorations and unique toys. They decorate about 30 themed trees each in their own scenery. It is so beautiful and the boys squealed the whole way through. We have never been there for their Easter decorations but I think we are going to try this year coming.
Terrible wind storms last night and I kept getting alerts on my phone. Usually I move to the coach during these storms because of the big trees next to our bedroom (lost 3 this past year and thankful they fell sideways) but DH and I were both to wiped out to even worry about it.
Gotta get ready for church!! Hope you are handling the stress of Christmas enough to be able to Enjoy It!!!!!

Hi Roz
We didn't get wind, but got the ice. Luckily the worst part didn't hit us... just a little. A few branches down, but it IS pretty. it's about 37 now so above freezing enough to get the roads cleared off. We've got some small branches/twigs down... that's about it.
We had our Christmas yesterday at my daughters' place. My Mom and Dad were told to stay home since they have to drive 45 minutes and they were on the line (north) where the ice was worse. My Mom was bummed... but I couldn't fathom worrying about her driving in that (and she's 81). They're coming down to my nephews for Christmas day, so we'll all go over there and do the presents.
Not sure what's on my menu today. Here it is noon and all I've had is coffee. I woke up at 9:30 today. I've been waking up late pretty much everyday for the past week. I went to bed around 11:30ish... so it wasn't all that late. I have been taking Nyquil at night cause I'm fighting some crud. I didn't last night - not sure how I'd sleep, but slept well... just long. Guess my body needed it.
I'll update later once I figure it all out!
Have a great Sunday!

Rain, rain, rain. there are rivers flowing though my pastures where there are not suppose to be rivers. At least it isn't snow or ice. I guess I should be thankful.
I did get the Christmas tree up today. I know, the rest of you have had one since Thanksgiving but I'm happy I got one up at all. Not having little ones makes it not so important.
I was going to go to Zumba but I am still in my pjs at 2:30. Lazy day!!!
