Happy to find you all!!!

I had surgery 9/3 and have been posting over on the VSG board. I found this board yesterday and it's so exciting. I've been told I'm a light weight(felt like a heavy weight). Although the surgeons office has not been very optimistic of me reaching goal, they say it's only expected that people lose 55-60% I know that this board is another tool to help me in my 100% journey.

I know MANY successful VSG'ers who have hit their goal.. I'm sure you can too!

 

although you won't have the malabsorption of the RNY, I know lots of folks who follow the program and get to goal.  You can do it if you hang in there.  We will be here for you!!!!

WELCOME!!!!!!  Our LW board represents every surgery type and everyone is willing to help!  The LW board is my only Support System so let us help!  Sometimes encouragement goes a Long way!!!

If you stick with Protein and low carb there is NO reason you shouldn't get down to a normal BMI!!  Be the one to blow your Surgeons office statistic out the window!!!!!   Most of the LW's on our board are on there way to a healthy weight!!

I have met my Dr's goal of 60% loss but am targeting 100%. I understand your goal. My Dr has been so supportive. I am so excited. It has been a slow but steady journey so far. I have been able to follow my plan without problems. Best of luck to you,
