OT: RIP Charley

Thanks, yeah, when Charley was born, he had a white "grandma" (okay, Snowy wasn't related but she tried to be a good grandma). Snowy was deaf, both eyes were blue, almost to the pink of an albino. She was also arthritic by that time so as long as the kittens (esp Charley) didn't "sneak" up on her from her back end, she was great with them.

And since I promised dh no new kittens FOR AWHILE (we still have 6), it will be awhile before getting a new one(s).

Liz

and your Charlie was a Hemingway cat! My solid white one is "odd eyed" with one piercing. Blue eye and one green eye,so he is not deaf.

DH and I will also not be getting any more fur babies when all these cross over. We are getting old too and don't want to leave them homeless if something should happen to both of us.

Our youngest 4 (2 cats and 2 dogs) are less than 3...the dogs actually turned 2 this past week. So it will be quite awhile before we are furbaby-less.

yeah,we have a 15 yr old cat and two 10 year old ones and one about 8 years. A 12 year old dog and a 6 year old dog so ours are a bit older. Never know who will go next,we have lost some of our younger ones over the years before we lost older ones. However they go,it hurts,I know.
