OT: RIP Charley

Charley was one of a set of triplets born to his mama who adopted us over 11 years ago...I actually had to help the vet bring him into the world but today he went to the Rainbow Bridge due to complications from thyroid disease. I was his human mama and I will miss him so very much.

He looks like my Larry.  I love black cats.  I know how much you will miss him but I'll bet he had a great life with you.

Thanks, Tazz...We have one more black cat...Miss Izzy. She was 3 when Charley was born, he looked like her but was not related to her. His mama is a grey striped tabby.

It's odd that while Charley and Miss Izzy both developed thyroid issues at almost the same time, she is handling it better...while she is very thin, she is stable in weight and eats normally. Her issue is more arthritic in nature...she is just fragile but still in decent health. But none of them last forever. She just turned 15...he was only 11 1/2.

sorry for his loss. We lost 3 of our fur babies in 2013.  They were all elderly but we thought they each had a little more time.

I like black cats too and solid white ones.
