Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

My last day of work this week....YEAH!!!!!   It's the 2nd day of our Christmas feast.  I'm trying to stick with the fruit salad I brought (picking out the blueberries and grapes that I'm allowed).  No one here really overeats and no one encourages you to try things. On a normal work day they all eat salad.  Other than the planned celebrations we never have chips, candy or cookies sitting around.  Mini Pretzels are usually the only "bad" food in the kitchen.

How are you handling the Holidays so far????

Last night's party after Muscle pump was a potato bar.  Not the best low carb but I ate a tiny one with cheese and brocalli and came home and had a shake and protein bar later that night.  so I did ok.

Today has been warmer but with a breeze.  I drove 2 ponies but really bundled up for the 2nd cause I was cold.  No walks this week.  I hope to get back on Sat.  Tomorrow I am going to driving lessons with both ponies and need to go wash the cart and harnesses but burr.  I really don't want to get in cold water.

decaf protein coffee  33g
eggbeaters, cheese, kale
pork patty on carbquick roll
warm lemon tea protein  13g
decaf protein coffee  23g
steak, salad
protein shake  33g

Microwave is in the shop.  Makes everything more trouble.  I think we will have to get the one from the horse trailer to survive.  Strange how dependent we get on our toys.

hahaha...washing the cart would definitely be something that my DH would be doing or one of my employees....I think you are Amazing!

When my microwave quit working I dealt with it for a day and then ran to Walmart to buy a new one....LOL.   I just bought a cheap one with plans to buy a better one later when I had time to check them out but I really like it and it does everything I need so it's a keeper.

Sounds Good Price!

yeah, the repair shop said it was going to be almost $300 in parts, not counting labor so tomorrow I go buy a new one.  Maybe they will be on sale for the holiday.

One more day then we are off on our ski holiday for 10 days in the Alpes.  Really looking forward to being outside and spending time together just the five of us!  It'll be tricky eating but I hope I can just drink more shakes and wing it.  We'll see!  I wish you all a wonderful holiday!

I am not handling the holidays well at all!  I'm still not done with shopping although all I have left to do is get some gift cards, wine bottles, and scratch off lottos as gifts for the older generation in my family.  Still, nothing like waiting until the last minute right?  Lol  I'm seeing the LI Medium Theresa Caputo in Long Island tonight with friends.  I went last year and it was amazing!  Can't wait to go again.

Meanwhile, I did a "naughty" thing and ate like 4 mini cupcakes that were in the work pantry   Oh well...I gotta try harder!

B: egg frittata with half a mini bagel

L: shelly's ricotta and sausage stuffed pepper

S: skinny pop

D: grabbing a salad from Chop't which is a salad bar type chain...their dressings are sooo super yummy..even the fat free ones!

band to sleeve revision and loving life!

You do you, and I'll do me

What's up Gina?

I'm going a different route from today on.  If they don't give me ideas then they are getting a VISA gift card and I will get gas perks from the purchase. I'm not going to stress over making everyone happy.

Sounds Good (how many cookies did you eat....LOL)
