Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Good Morning Lightweights!!! My scales are down today!!! I guess I didn't do too bad at our Office Christmas party!!! I did concentrate on Protein which is the key to being successful after WLS. I remember when I dieted, the holidays would be an excuse to eat whatever I wanted because the "real diet" started after New Years. I'm so HAPPY those years are over!!!!
Hopefully today is going to be a successful shopping day for me! I'd really like to be done so we can start wrapping. I don't have anything yet for a couple of people on my list. 2 of the Grandkids have Christmas parties at school today so I'm watching the younger ones and then my DD's and I are heading for Pittsburgh.

Yay - we made it, it's Friday!! I really don't have much shopping to do. This weekend I'll be braving the grocery store to buy turkey crown - I just can't be doing with all that messing around... or maybe we'll get a chicken as it's just the 2 of us.
Today my windshield was frozen, but it thawed quickly. I hope we don't suffer like you guys have been with the weather.

Happy Friday, Roz! I still have a few gifts to get myself but nothing terrible. Tomorrow I am cleaning the hell hole that is my apartment, finishing wrapping/decorating and then having friends over for some treats.
B: last of my egg frittata
L: chop't salad...they are a salad chain but very fresh ingredients. I had black beans, grilled chicken, some cheese, romaine lettuce, and avocado with a light ranch dressing on the side.
S: skinny pop
D: going out to an Italian place tonight. It's not what I would call "traditional" Italian...I might have something like chicken piccata or stuffed peppers (they don't use rice, just meat).

Hi Roz
Took the afternoon off and went shopping in the little village where my daughter is a police officer. It RAINED all day - glad I had my umbrella in my car! We are going to a freeze then get freezing rain. Tomorrow is my family's Christmas at my daughters. I'm a bit worried about my Mom driving there. They live 45 minutes away and she's NOT the best driver as it is...
Been in a muncy crunchy mood. Trying to stick to the good foods....
