Snowy Sunday morning!

Good morning LW's,

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Sitting here watching it snow, its a winter wonderland, the trees and rooftops are all coated, and it seems so quiet outside now. Peaceful, except for Buddy Love running around like a maniac with his nose in the snow and fetching his ball.

Well its off to yoga at 1015, then I better consider getting some shopping done. I usually have my list ready and get done in about 2 trips on average. But I dont have a list yet, Bah humbug I say!!! Oh well, maybe this snow will change my attitude a bit.

Sunny here but very wet from all the rain yesterday and cold and windy.  I had planned on not driving because of the cold and wind but we'll see what the afternoon brings.  Maybe Thor and I will walk late or I will go to Zumba.  Haven't been to the Sunday class in weeks.  Planning on attacking the personel files today to get them in order.  It is nice to be able to work whenever so I don't feel so guilty when I am taking off to play with the ponies while everyone else is working.

I'm still not much in the Christmas spirit but I think I have about done what I am going to do.  DH does most of DS's and DD got a iPad so that is about all.  Could stand to do something for my driving buddies, last year I made mustards.  No clues this year.

I'm heading off to work.  I've been so fortunate in that the snow and ice haven't hit when I need to get to work.  I hate driving in that crap.

It's a short day today so I can go to my granddaughter's birthday.  She is 7 so I have two 7 year old granddaughters now.  I couldn't decide what to get her so it's money.  She is different then the other grandkids.  They are all into Disney or Dora or Hello Kitty or princesses and Cassidy, while not quite a tomboy, is not girly girly.  Probably because my son would hate that and her step mother is definitely not like that.  

I am only buying for the kids this year, like every year actually.  I really can't afford to get everyone gifts so we agree to just focus on the kids.  I've been picking things up here and there but it's hard to tell if I am getting more for one then the others because I tend to pick up something if I know  one of them will like it.  Like one of the loves Dora so I get the Dora things I find and the other likes Minnie Mouse or I will see something that I know one of them will like.  When it comes time to wrap it all I find that one of them has a bunch and others only have a few.  I am not very organized.  I always try to treat them all the same so I will balance it all out.

Off to work!

We have already been to church and then to Wally World for some groeries.

Going to try to go through the assorted bags of gifts in my room and get some wrapping done.

We only have one grandchild so are able to concentrate on him, his mom is not working right now (that is another story)so we are buying all his presents this year.

Making goulash for the family today, I am eating leftovers (would rather eat goulash lol)

Snow here too. I have been sewing DH a gilly (sp) suit. It is Like camouflage for war games w the DSs.   I'm unemployed at the moment so using my time to make a gift. DSs are getting cash. Teens are hard to buy for. I have iTunes cards and beef jerky for stockings. 

dh got me an electric throw for Christmas and gave it early, snuggled in it now. 

We very rarely have snow and when we do everything stops.

I had the granddaughters yesterday and they spent the night. We went to breakfast with Santa, decorated Christmas Cookies and made an ornament.  They had a hard time going to sleep last night.  I hope they didn't get in trouble today because they were so tired.

I am almost finished shopping, I only lack a few more people.

I really need to get back on track with my eating.
