Menus and Miles Friday Dec. 13th
I guess some folks call the white ones yams, or maybe the yellow ones are yams? anyway, they look like a sweet potato only the flesh is white. Probably not much or any better for you but they sure are good and my sister got a bushel and brought them for Thanksgiving and gave me a bunch to bring home. We will be eating them for another week or so.
Rain hasn't started here yet but we are suppose to get about an inch. We are so soggy now, unless it is all frozen. Oh well, it is winter and I guess I would rather it be rain than be butt deep snow.

I could actually remember the date today and didn't have to keep looking at the phone at work every time I wrote it....LOL.

I eat raisins or dried cranberries every day I know some folks feel they are too carby, but they work for me! I always measure out only 2 T. I love the cranberries on salad, or in oatmeal. I mix raisins and a tiny bit of walnuts in 1% cottage cheese with cinnamon for a snack. Tastes like a dessert.

I need to remember to grab some blueberries. That's one fruit I'm allowed and I love them frozen.
Sounds Good Gina....I've been missing Newton posting on the site!

Lots of protein until you got to the rice krispie treats....LOL I love those!!! I made some a few months ago and I couldn't stay out of them either. I won't be making them any more!! DH buys the ones already made and if I'm around I usually take a bite.
