I've been really watching my carbs the past week. When my tummy was really cramping bad carbs were the only thing that didn't seem to rile it up. I am slowly trying to add different proteins and see how it goes. I found out on the weekend though that walking really cramps me up too.

Drove back to VA today. I didn't have to be in my meeting today. I KNOW the drive back yesterday would have been miserable. Traffic today was good. Weather was good. Instead I got to spend some more time with the grandbabies.
My 3 year old Grandbabygirl said "GrGr - I love you" umprompted... Made my heart melt and imbedded even more the decision I made to buy a house in MI and go back as much as I can!
Traveling food.. ugh!
B - coffee and a egg/english muffin
L/D - BK fish sandwich and onion rings - ugh - I'll pay for it..
S - a cheese quesadilla on low carb
vits - no. I've been very bad about it in at MI. I told my sister to remind me....
Water: low - as I didn't want to have to stop and pee!! :)

Traveling is just hard because nothing is ok and even if it is just sodium, you feel it the next day. We came back on Sunday and the traffic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Glad you had an easy trip.

Ahhhh....I understand the feeling. 3 is a great age!! Every morning our 5 yr. old comes to my house and then I take her to school. This morning was her first day back after break and I told her how much I missed her (I did see her but not the same) and she said "I would have come if I had known" she sounded so grown up it made me laugh.
Onion rings...did you pay? If someone at our table orders them I always beg for one....LOL. I think any more that 1 I would defintely pay.

I find onion rings don't affect my blood sugar like french fries do. I tolerate fat now, so it doesn't bother me that way. I ordered the meal and they asked if I wanted FF or onion rings... I was surprised by that, but then again I didn't look to see if they charged me more for them.

I had to work on Friday, so missed the "fun" haha.
Had my surgeon/nut follow up today, and went really well. They said you"re DOING SO GOOD. I said well I just follow the rules. They said I will keep losing for a couple more months anyway. The only thing was they checked my blood pressure with the obese cuff so my BP was pretty low and they got all worked up. I said, maybe its because you are taking my BP with the obese cuff. GRRRR. (aren't they supposed to know these things?) I assured them I had drank adequately, eaten three meals and wasn't dizzy or lightheaded. I will have it checked at work every day this week just to make sure,
