Good morning LW"s!
Hello!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Thank goodness work wasn't too bad.
Looks like its been a little quiet around here with the holiday and shopping perhaps?
Glad I was working, couldnt believe all the cars at the shopping plaza by the hospital when I went to work yesterday.
Need to get some vitamins and protein ordered. Then its off to curves and then yoga. I should walk Buddy but baby its COLD outside!!! I think its 24 this morning.
Having a little get together for my son's 18th birthday. How the time flies! Thank goodness he wants pizza and wings, I wont have to cook, yeah!
Whats going on with you today?
Have a great day!

Last day of vacation and although it has been great seeing my family, I am ready to go home to see my animals. We were going to the water park but decided to go caving instead. I have never been in a cave and am looking forward to it.
Enjoy your son while he is home. They grow up and am gone way too soon.

Had a very nice Thanksgiving day with my sister and her family. Did eat some goodies but back on track now. Had to work yesterday so my husband and daughter were going to make a turkey in the electric roaster for us to eat Friday evening. When I got home I noticed that the roaster was only turned to 200. My daughter had looked up turkey roasting times and thought that the temp listed for the internal temp when done was the temp the turkey was to cook at LOL.
So I turned it up to 350 and it was done at 9 pm. It did make a yummy bedtime snack. We are going to have our "turkey dinner" this afternoon.
I really don't like working the day after holidays, I am a home health nurse and it is always a ridiculously busy day

Hi Maria
Went to WalMart today and it was DEAD! I ended up having to twice because I bought lights for the front of my house and needed more. Took advantage of the warmer weather (yea, a month ago if I said 44 was warm I'd have kicked myself! lol). But.. I didn't get the peak of my garage done - I'm just chicken when it comes to high heights and the ladder.
Glad you had a good time for your son's birthday. They grow up SO fast - and so do the grandbabies!
Heading back to VA either tomorrow or Monday.. we'll see. I have to go see the grandbabies tonight and finish decorating my baby Christmas tree and put out some of my decorations.
