Happy Hump Day!
Good morning LW's,
Ran around all day yesterday with the darn car, but have 4 good tires and a new alignment, so it should be a lot safer this winter. Then we had to drop it off to the body shop, my hubby backed into it and dented the front pretty bad. Needless to say I got home around 5 and roasted a sirloin tip roast, what a dissappointment.
Great flavor, but so tough! Any got some suggestions on what to do with it? Can I put in the crockpot now and make stew? Or I was thinking about grinding it up and making a shepards pie or chili.
Baking pies today for tomorrow. Finish dusting a giving the house a little more detailed cleaning.
Need to get things ready for the next 2 days at work, 12 hours shifts. I always get my vitamins and snacks packed. Trying to get my head in the right place so tomorrow at work I am not tempted by all the goodies that will be around.
I hope you all have a great day. I am feeling blessed to have a warm home, food in my frig and shoes on my feet. I am also so grateful for my wls and my regained health.
I am also grateful to be in the USA, and so thankful for all our men, women and their families that fight and work so hard for us everyday.
Big hugs!!
~Maria
Oh man, I hate that about the car. I especially hate it when I do something that makes them cost even more than usual!!!!
It has been flurring off and on so far today. I went to the gym then sat in the hot tub yesterday. plan on more of the same today. I was thrilled I did 15 min on the eliptical. I used to only be able to do 5 then rest. Then I did weights for another 20 min so I got some exercise in.
DD is coming tomorrow instead of today because of the weather. By tomorrow the snow should have ended and the road clear. Can't wait to see her.
I, too am thankful for so many things. That I can take a vacation, have my family around, be in a warm place. We all have so much we take for granted.
Everyone enjoy your time off and family.

yep, you can cut it up and make stew. If it will shredd, you could mix it with some bbq sauce for sandwiches ( not really a WLS friendly thing).
