ds questtion

Did you guys have the ds in one shot or did you do it in two sessions? if you did it in two parts how long was it between the two surgeries?

I'd say the DS folks on this board had it all in 1 shot. 

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

In the US, doing it in two parts is pretty uncommon. It used to be more common but studies show that it doesn't generally help make it safer. It might for individuals who have specific medical conditions, but not everyone.

One shot here. My surgeon may do the DS in two steps if the person starts with a very high BMI or if the sleeve failed them. He also does revisions from RNY to DS and all the rest.

One shot here...

Unless you went for just the VSG and it failed you, those of us who are lightweights do best to do the DS as a virgin surgery.

Think twice, cut once.
