Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

It must do - it took me a really long time to muster up the nerve to try protein powder and to my surprise I was fine with 30g worth of protein with that - any bigger and I do get gas, but one scoop is fine by me.

that is one of the recipes that has kind of morfed around here.  I think Linda had the original but I can tell you how I make them.

I start with 1 c of sausage flavored TVP and a cup of warm water and let it soak for about a half hour then drain the water off.  Add turkey pepperoni cut up into tiny pieces, about 1/3 of a little bag and 2 bags of shredded cheese.  I use all different kinds of cheese and if I have them will do 3 bags instead of 2, you kind of can't go wrong.  I put in about a tablespoon of italian seasoning and some garlic powder.  Mix it all together, spoon it out into mounds on parchment paper and bake at 350-400 until it looks done (melted and golden around the edges.  You will figure out how much you want them cooked.  It make a bunch and they keep very well.
