Looking at recipes...that made me laugh! I cook the same menu every single year. I added a yam dish a couple of years ago but everything's been the same for the last 30+ years.....WOW that's a long time! Our family (Mom, brother, sister, in-laws) has grown from 7 to 33.
Sounds Good.....try to be good at the meeting.....lol.

33!!! I've helped BBQ for 10 or so and the guests brought some dishes with them!! Doesn't sound like you'll have a break at all!!
Yup, the protein's not as high as it could be... I'll start back with the Greek yogurt on Monday as it's just an easy way to get in some more protein and some good live cultures that seem to work well for me.

I love doing Thanksgiving!! We started out with 7 and now have 33. I think it is the easiest holiday because it's always on a Thursday and a turkey is easy to cook. My sister does Easter and my Sister-n-law does Christmas. Those 2 holidays are way busier. My girls are started to complain about having to go somewhere on Christmas. Now that they have their own families they would like to stay at home. I told them that as long as my Mom is living we will be celebrating with the rest of the family. They understand and they might complain but they will all be there.
This little piggy loves roast beef too! I like Nutella too but I can't quit eating it.

I saw on the news last night that there's a shortage of Butterball large turkeys. Other suppliers have stepped up, but it may cause a shortage they're saying.
I don't cook - so that makes it easier for me! We do a potluck where everyone brings a dish. Whomever is hosting provides the meat. My daughter did a mexican themed one year and my mom, dad and sister brought their own Thanksgiving dinners. I thought that was pretty crappy, it's about family, not what you're eating. Of course that upset my daughter.
Anyway - I did end up eating a chicken thigh last night too. Guess that's not too bad. Scale is holding steady - still down the 2 lbs from vacation - but I have to be careful.
UGH - what a snacky day
B - coffee
L - quite a bit... a chicken thigh, a bacon/tomato on wheat wrap (was very good)
S - cup of green tea
S - protein hot chocolate (yea me!)
S - pistachios
D -sushi
Vits: yep
Water: working on it.

Man I better go right after work tomorrow and get my turkey! Wouldn't that be awful if I couldn't find a turkey!!!!! WOW...I bet that did upset your DD! Everyone keeps telling me they can't wait for turkey so I might have some upset guests if I strayed away from the traditional.
I have chicken thighs on my grocery list. I'm having a terrible time finding plain foods that won't make me cramp up. I think that might work.
Glad your scales are looking good. Mine are moving in the wrong direction!
You don't have much food planned today.

Rainy day here. Workmen are gone for the day, thank goodness. Noise and comotion right at my computer. I did have training this afternoon but it didn't take as long as they thought so I was back early. I got a walk in before the rain started.
I'm cooking my turkey, just a breast) now. we are going to eat out for Thanksgiving but I thought a turkey breast for sandwtches and turkey salad to take on the trip would be good. It's the leftovers that are the best and if you eat out, there aren't any leftovers.

I love left overs. I like the dark meat so I might buy a small turkey and stuff it for later. Every year the kids get bigger and there are less and less leftovers.
Sounds good Price!

I like dark meat too but I am the only one. I will get that when we go out. I often buy turkey thighs and cook them for me for lunch. There is only one grocery that carries them and I don't go there often but when I do, I buy all they have and freeze them.
