liver tests

My alt and ast bloodwork have been high several times since surgery.My AST is 60.Normal range is 15-37 and my ALT is 74.Normal being 30-65.Anyone else have this problem

Yep. Many of us have elevated liver enzymes especially during the losing phase. Mine have come down but one is a little bit high. Surgeon isn't worried about it.

I am past the losing phase.When I had my gallbladder removed she was going to do a biopsy,but change of lans when had to flush bile ducts due to gallbladder stones

Yep - I had elevated liver tests from day 1.  Then the lab said they changed the way they did it - then it became in "normal" range.. hmmmmm

 

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so

Rapid weight loss is hard on the liver. So is acetaminephin (Tylenol) so try to avoid that during the WL phase!

I had elevated enzymes, but now after 3 years, they are back to normal.
