Should I be Worried
Have in mind that with any WLS some people do not get complete resolution of diabetes, and some people do. Some get temporary remission of diabetes.... Remission means their Diabetes can return later - few years later even if they maintain their weight loss.

I was 59 years old and 195 pounds when I had surgery. I lost down to 128 pounds, which looked fantastic in clothes, but started to get saggy boobs and loose skin on my back. I had little chicken wings that I had to tuck into a bra. When bounceback kicked in, I went up to 142.
Now I fight to stay at 136, which looks and feels perfect for my 5'2" big boned and muscular frame. Getting ten or twenty pounds under goal is excellent for a lightweight. As another poster said, bounceback is real.
Your body will know when to stop losing. Malabsorption ends and everything balances out. I was so afraid of RNY. After the surgery I realized how groundless those fears were. I felt the same, except I was no longer hungry. I followed the same diet as before, except I ate much less and the diet works now.
At 65, I look, act and feel years younger than my age. I rock those size 4 jeans, have lots of energy and love living as a normal size woman. We only live once, make the most of it.
