I literally ate every time my stomach emptied when I got home from work. I probably ate 1600-1800 calories yesterday. Today is a new day and I have a plan for my meals again. This time I'm going to stick to it. HOPEFULLY!!!

breakfast: scoop and half protein powder 45 g protein

Lunch: chicken salad from bumble bee 9 g protein

Dinner: broiled chicken breast Don't know protein value.

Snack: Scoop of protein powder 30 g protein

Also, today is my six month since surgery. I know my tracker says I only have 29 lbs to loose to be at goal BUT in actuallity I am only about half way there. UGH

I find that if I make sure to drink 20 oz between each meal, I don't eat as often.  I do still have 4 meals a day but the liquid in between helps fill me up and keeps me away from food better.

Thanks I will try to do that. work is my downfall. I eat all day there plus eat at home. THEN when I get home I'm so used to eating all day that I continue the trend. I will try drinking more at home because I usually dont drink anything after I get home from work.

dense protein, like your chicken breast, fills me up much more than a protein drink or yogurt or cottage cheese.  I use the protein drinks, at 1/2 scoop to fill in the times between meals.  Also, wait at least 30 min to an hour between eating and drinking.  If you eat, wait 30 min, drink 20 oz before you eat again, you can't "eat all day"

This is what I do and maybe it can work for you.

I set LOTS of timers on my phone. I also have a water app that goes off every 15 minutes (pain in the ass to set up but once done, AWESOME!). So there's the water timer, and then... the food timers. I just use the regular ones on my phone (you can also use the alarm clock function so you don't have to set it every morning. I set it for 9am (breakfast), noon, 4 (snackie-poo), then 7 for dinner. If I MUST have something around 9, it's ONLY a small amount of protein. My rule is, unless that alarm has gone off - NO FOOD. It's much much easier if you have that alarm to remind you.... it also gives you something to look forward to. I document my meals every time I eat to stay on track.

Hope that helps!

I can set the alarms for when I'm home and I think I"m going to try that but from 7-3:30 I can't do anything. I'm not allowed tohave my phone on at work. I am going to set it though cuz that would keep my water in during the evening. Thanks for the hint :D

Can you keep your phone on you hidden somewhere (I put mine in my bra when I need to!), and then set it on vibrate?

I know it's stupid but I don't know how to put my phone on vibrate. I only know how to turn the ringer off. BUT I have a 24 oz water bottle and a 16.9 oz bottle of water at work that I just leave there and fill up each day at the end of the day. Imake sure I drink them both at work and I do a 20 Oz shake before and after work so I get some good water intake throughout the day. I TRY to drink other water while I'm at home but sometimes I just can't manage it. I get most of my protein through shakes because I do between 3-4 scoops a day. I make it as cold coffee with no sugar or creamer. It works out nicely. Tastes like an iced coffee for me without the sugar or calories.A HEALTHY coffee drink.. lol who would have thought? ANY WAY... my newest update: wait for it.... I have broken my stall and am down 5 lbs!!! Thank GOD.
