Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

Well the day has come that I have been dreading.  I go to the Urologist this afternoon to have meds put into my bladder to help the healing.  I've actually been feeling a lot better.  I still have some cramping but it is bearable.  I had to pick up 4 prescriptions to take to my appointment.  I guess the Dr. mixes up a gel that he is going to insert. I just read the side effects and I'm glad this is a 1 time deal and I don't have to take these every day.  I've been having blurred vision with the one he has me taking daily.  I'm hoping I can quit taking it after today.

I really miss my Wendy's Chili!!!!  Maybe after I start feeling better I can have it occasionally.

HI Roz - I am glad you are going to get this appointment out of the way and hopefully find some relief soon!  Fingers and toes crossed for you today.

I am finally back in Belgium after traveling in France with my family and visiting parents (who are now safely back in California!).  It feels strange to have been so cut off from my everyday life - no internet while traveling in the country!- and I know I need to keep myself accountable in this forum or I'll slip into old habits - or new bad habits.  While I have no signs of hunger my appetite has returned and food does appeal to me.  I still lost during my trip - amazing! - but I recognise that I can't just eyeball my portion sizes.  Weighing and measuring is the only way for me to keep things in check!

B:  Protein yogurt = 38g

S: cheese stick = 6g

L:  Lemon protein shake = 23g

S: Chocolate  cookie protein shake= 27g

S: one slice of ham + one slice of cheddar = 15g

D:  65g of chili = 18g

All vitamins, pro-biotic, and 2 hours at the gym.  Yipee!

Nice to have you back!  It sounds like you had a great vacation with your family.

At 5 years out I still weigh and measure my foods that aren't Protein.  I don't think of it being on a diet or anything like that but it definitely helps me be aware of what I am eating.

Sounds good!

I have a tiny block for a second or two then it expands and takes up the whole bottom of the page.  Not sure why yours is not working right.

I don't have internet on my phone so the postings on my computer are enormous!   I guess that's better for my aging eyes.....hahaha.  The older I get the worse my eyes are.  It is a lot hard to read with your post being in paragraph form but we will manage.

Yesterday didn't go well.  I wrote about it on Friday's post.

I saw that GA was getting colder weather.  We just booked our flights for Atlanta.  We didn't go last year because the flights were so high but we got them for under $200.00 roundtrip so DH and I decided to go this year. The GA sunshine in Feb. is always a nice break from PA's winter.

What do you use in your meatballs to hold them together that makes them low carb?

Sounds Good!

Hope this makes you all better quick.

I hope so Price!  It's probably good that your body is used to physical work and exercise. It's probably a lot stronger than some others your age (me included).

I think I'm going to buy a pack of thighs to cook up.

Sounds Good!
