I got a new app for my ipad / iphone this morning. Its called seconds pro ($4.99), to help with running. It has a 0-5 k plan, I may try this. I cant believe I am thinking about this! I have been alternating a minute of walking and a minute of jogging so far.  It let me set up a timer, and I just set my Ipad on the treadmill.  If it ever warms up (next spring LOL) I will use it outside with my Iphone.

I also did a free app called FitnessClass, I found a fair variety of free classes on it and saved 6 to my favorites.  I used one this am and it was good!  FOR FREE!

I just started back to exercise after my hysterectomy/ A P repair/ Tummy tuck on 9/13/13.  Man am I out of shape!  Even though I am wearing a small, everything jiggles!  LOL

I think whatever we can take advantage of that helps us get moving is wonderful.  I have been walking with my dog in the mornings.  I never have used music or anything but I'm thinking just a beat would be helpful to move us along.  And I love my muscle pump class and zumba.  They both loud and exciting music.  Yeah, there is lots of free stuff out there.

I used the MapMyRun app, the Run 5k app, Nike+Running and 10K Runner.

The Run 5K and 10K Runner are both paced apps that gradually get you to 5K or 10K.  I never did the 10K one.  If I paid for any of them it was $1.99.

I'm going to look at the FitnessClass app.  Thanks for sharing and good luck!!

You have this! You look great. I can't wait to be able to run a 5K, maybe we can run one together once I am to that point :)

I did a few days of 3 mph alternating with 4 mph, it was all good.  About 20 min total with warm/cool included.

A few days ago I decided to go faster 3 mph alternating with 5 mph ..... BAD IDEA.  I aggravated my SI joint that I had pinned and now it hurts 24/7!  hope it will go away again, then I will get back to the slower pace.
