WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Happy Friday!!!!!
I was worried about not getting any sleep with the little ones and DD sleeping in my room but I had the best nights rest. DD had to work last night at the gym and I had both little ones sound asleep when she got home and we never heard them again until 6:00 this morning. DH is a VERY noisy sleeper! Snoring, dreaming, going to BR etc.

Hi Roz,
Glad you got a good nights sleep. DH gets up all night too and watches TV. He is taking Melatonin(?) now to try and help him sleep through the night. I don't usually wake up because I am a very heavy sleeper.
We are having the Grandbabies Christmas pictures taken this afternoon, can't wait to see them all dressed up. I really need to clean my house this weekend, but have about 50 other things to do too.

I bet their pictures will be super cute! Are you going somewhere who prints them right away? Are you getting any taken with you and DH?
I wanted to ask you about DH being retired. My DH is going to be 62 and he just dropped this on me and I am not ready for it. I made an appointment with someone to talk about his 401K etc. My DH is going to be so bored. I'm not sure what he is going to do to keep himself busy. Does it bother you that yours isn't working?
I'm not allowed caffeine so I guess I won't be enjoying any Protein Hot Chocolate for awhile. It never gave me heartburn so I'm going to wait until my bladder heals up and then give it a try.
I really miss my Wendy's Chili!!!!!
Sounds Good Linda!

They did so good. He will edit them and we will get a CD in about 3 weeks. I pick what I want printed and the girls order them for me. DH did not go with us. We try to do family pictures at Christmas each year. My nephews wife usually takes them for us all.
I thought my DH would be bored too, but he loves it. He just piddles around all the time. I think him and Willie take a nap almost every afternoon. Of course he has gained some weight since he retired, that is something that worries me about retiring in a couple of years. It drives me crazy to have to get up and go to work and he gets to do whatever all day long, but I just keep thinking only 2 more years now.... He knew he wanted to retire, so he put enough away to help him out until he could draw social security next year. I have the insurance so he doesn't have to worry about that. Our insurance can stay with us the rest of our lives with the State.
I never thought about the caffeine in hot chocolate. The white chicken chili I have been eating had cayenne pepper in it and it has my stomach a little irritated, but I wanted to fini**** off. Maybe it will be one of the things you can add back.
Happy Friday!

Decarbing is really hard but if you can stick with it for about a week it does get easier. The further out you are the harder it is to bring the scale back down but it's worth the effort. You can't go to low in your eats though or it might back fire on you.
Good Luck!

Good for you!!! Our tool works as long as we take really good care of it. Keep it up and the pounds will come off!!!
At 5 years out I still can only eat 3 oz. of meat on a good day and it has to be really moist.

I bought variety bags of chips this year. I KNOW I can't control myself with candy in the house. It's a good thing I did because I bought 40+ bags (giving 2 each) and only had 5 kids.
Besides the...(sigh) it looks pretty good!!
