Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!

Happy Sunday!!   I've been up for hours!  It's going to take awhile for my body to adjust to the time change. 

I've been doing really good avoiding foods I think will upset my bladder (thinking back to acid reflux days and what caused it).  I actually feel pretty good this morning.  It makes me so mad that I have been thinking I am eating right and my decisions have been what's been making me sick the last 2.5 months.

I'm just starting to have something like heart burn or acid reflux every evening starting around 4PM or a little later. I'm wondering if I need to cut back on the cranberry juice and peanuts. I drink diet cranberry juice all day and night.
I'm so glad you're doing better and not having so much pain.

All juices and cranberries are on my Avoid list.  Peanuts, almonds, and cashews are on my Good list. Macadamia, pecans, walnuts are on the worth trying. Filberts, hazelnuts, pecans, and pistachios are on my avoid list.

I gave up my Snapple a couple of weeks ago because I started having a pain through my right breast.  My DD said that's where it hurts when she has heart burn.  I never put heart burn symptoms and bladder cramping together though.

I think I fixed my cranberry juice,I think.  I've gone back to watering it way down like I did as a new pot-op. I may have to start looking for a substitute.  : (

It's amazing (to me) how our bodies change.  What you used to eat/drink before and didn't bother you does now... strange...

Travel day - drive back from MI to VA.  But - what was the good thing about it was... my daughter and hubby (and kids) were driving BACK from MD from a wedding.  We figured out how to meet and have lunch/dinner together and it worked out perfectly (just down the road from you in Allengheny).  It was great and special being able to see the girls again - nice surprise!

B -- coffee

L -  pieces of pizza on wheat crust (not a big favorite)

D - open faced pot roast sandwich with sweet potato fries (ok, not great)

S - 2 cheese sticks

Vits: yes

water:  ok

 

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost

Awe....that was nice!  

I used to get heartburn really bad.  I also used to get cramps but when I went to my Urologist he always gave me something that made them go away.  I thought I had a urine infection but maybe I didn't.

It's not the worst thing you could have chosen.
