Hi Linda - I hope Roz's DD's procedure goes well.

I don't do gifts for Halloween, Easter, etc.  Just me... they get enough stuff they don't miss it.

I need to start drinking protein drinks again.  I get out of my environment/routine and forget them.

B - coffee

L - leftover calamari (meatball was lead in my pouch - didn't eat but a bite or two)

D - pizza

Vits:  yes

water:  low...

DH did good.  The ulcers in his esophagus have cleared up and they stretched him so he won't choke as much.

I wish I hadn't started with gifts for every holiday. I think that should just be the parents job.  It was easy and affordable when I only had 2 but now I have 8 and it is getting harder and harder.  I'm going to force myself  to cut back at Christmas this year.  I know it's going to hurt me a lot more than it's going to hurt them.

I probably should not have started the gifts on all occasions.  It can get expensive.  I don't do toys or candy, only things they need like pj's, diapers and things like that.

I don't think I could survive without my protein drinks.

Looks good Gina!  There is candy everywhere here...  I'm trying to stay in my office away from it, but sometimes it just calls my name out!

Thanks Linda!  DH's did fine.  He is a pretty tired from not getting much sleep and then have anesthesia today.  He will probably sleep straight through until morning.

Does your DIL cut up the little ones hot dogs into little pieces.  I bought our DGD a weiner dog hot dog cutter at Walmart and she giggles the whole time she is eating her hot dog.  I'm going to grab some for the rest of our little ones the next time I go there.

I'm happy for you that your Parents can still get around and enjoy visiting family.  My Mom enjoys being with all of the great grandkids but then when she goes home she gets confused about it all.  But just seeing her laugh and having fun with them for the moment makes me happy.

Good Menu!

Glad DH did good.

They actually just eat the hot dog in the bun.  No one cuts it up for them.  DGD#1 would rather eat the bun and french fries-all she wants is carbs.  She is not much of a meat eater.  She had to eat atleast 2 bites of the hot dog last night.

I read about the hot dog cutter and started to look for them at Walmart yesterday, but I had already spent enough money!!

Ever since it was on the news that a girl choked and died eating a hot dog at school all of my girls cut their ups. I found them in the vegetable section hanging at the far end of the cooler section.
