Welcome to our Board!!! It won't be long now until you are on the most exciting roller coaster ride you will ever experience!
It probably depends on what your Dr. turns into the insurance. I am assuming your Dr. turned in your first weight in order to get you approved and he won't turn in another weight. Contact the person handling your insurance/approval at the Dr. office to be sure.

Welcome!
I would only do the pre-op diet for about 3 days. LWs don't really need that much time on the pre-op diet.

Depends on the insurance, surgeon, etc. It IS possible they work from the day of surgery and not the weight you signed into the office with so ASK.
And welcome to the LW board.

I called the doctor's office and spoke to a nurse...who spoke with the doctor. They still want me to do the Pre-op diet. They are going to call my insurance company to find out what weight counts...the approval letter weight or the getting on the table weight. Should I just call the insurance company myself? I am beside myself...I worked so hard to get approved! I would hate to show up that day only to find out...I can't do it because I can't afford to self pay.
