Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!

Are you ready for  the weekend? I definitely am!!!!!

I went and bought salad fixins last night. A girl at work gave me a sample of her dressing and it was actually pretty good.  Gluten Free Maple Grove Farms Fat Free Honey Dijon and it was actually pretty good.  It has 40 calories in 2 TBS which wasn't to bad compared to some that I looked at.  I actually enjoyed having a salad with my roasted chicken instead of my normal (1/3 cup) of mac n cheese that the grandson's asked for.  I was full and satisfied and not wanting more.

Last night my cramping was the worse so far.  I called Highmark and talked to a nurse and she told me to call my PCP and get referred to a different Urologist. She said waiting 6 weeks for an appt. and 3 weeks between each test was ridiculous.  My appt. is next Thursday with new Dr.  I figure if I don't like this Dr. I can still go for the test on the 5th that the other Dr. ordered.  She also told me to have my PCP call me in prescription for cramping.

Thanks Gina!  I need all of the lizard swinging I can get!

I don't know what chicken gumbo?  I've never heard of that before.  Sounds sticky....hahaha  I think I could eat more meat if I used gravy.  Everything still gets stuck (not complaining!!)

Sounds Good Gina!

You know, the nurse is right.  I've done that before where I didn't want to wait as long as it was going to take to get in to the Dr's or a test and let them know I had other options.  Happened with an MRI YEARS ago.  They wanted me to wait 3 weeks... I said i could go somewhere else and get it done - they got me in the NEXT day...   Did that recently too with my colonoscopy... with my schedule I never know where i'm going to be (MI or VA) and it's hard to plan out 3-6 weeks ahead of time for a Dr's appt.

Glad you enjoyed your chicken and salad!  It's nice to mix things up once in awhile.. but I *gasped* when i saw the mac-n-cheese... i couldn't tell you the last time I had that... but then I eat pizza without thinking about it - lol.

I hung a new bathroom door yesterday and had to do some "doctoring" to make it close half way decent today (still not perfect, but it closes and locks).  I was on the floor today and felt my back "twinge"... and I've been to the chiro 3 days in a row now... UGH!  But I got 2 closet doors and the new bathroom door up.  AND the old lock mechanism didn't match the new, so I had to do some doctoring there too... I think it turned out pretty good, even my sister says so - lol.  I'm sure it would have taken someone who knew what they were doing a LOT less time than me, but it's all a learning experience.  Now I know every door I want to replace will have the same issues, I'm wondering if I want to tackle it or wait... the other way to take care of it is to replace the whole jamb, but I know I can't do that by myself.  And now I know i can do something myself I don't want to pay someone to do it...

B - coffee

L - small bowl of innard of a pot pie mix

S - a few cashews

S - 2 small no sugar added popsicles (yummy)

D - 2 pieces of baked tilapia and a beer

Vits:  yes

Water:  I tried...

Sorry your back hurts...glad you have a chiro you trust!   Mine goes to FL from Nov. to April so I dread my neck (headaches) acting up during that time.  I go to his brother if I have to but he isn't as good.

You are amazing!!  I would never attempt hanging a door.  I laughed at Gina's light bulb post because DH even does those. I would have to pay someone if I needed work done or call one of my 3 SIL's.  It's getting to the point where DH would rather pay then mess with it.  It's crappy getting old.

Grandkids love mac n cheese.  I keep telling DD's they need to find a healthier alternative.  DD#1 joined WW's.  She has never lost any of her weight after having the baby in Jan. and she has been so depressed over. She lost 3 lbs. this week and she is so excited. They have a new APP for your IPhone that you can actually scan things at the grocery store to find out how many points they are.  She says it's fun so hopefully that excitement will carry on until her weight comes off.

Good Menu Jody!

That sounds like fun!  I love going to places like that.  I wouldn't like the cold though!!!  If you are like me you get a lot colder now than we did when we were heavier.

It looks like you did pretty good with your eats today!
