Happy Monday! OK...As you all know I have been bummed about eating in restaurants and hating Menus. I just don't enjoy food anymore. I could eat Wendy's Chili or Veg. Soup every single day and be happy. I can't eat salad without LOTS of Salad Dressing. I don't like vinegar/oil or Italian. I like sweeter dressings like Honey Mustard so that probably defeats the purpose. What do you use on your Salads?

I make my own oil and vinager and really DO NOT like sweet dressings. I can do ranch ok and there is a ranch that is made from yogurt and it is pretty good.
I walked Thor early then rushed around and drove Halley so I could be at a meeting at 1 only to come in and find out it was canceled. At least now I can get some work done this afternoon. Muscle pump this evening.

Don't you hate when meetings are canceled. We have a lot of no shows at our office. We don't even get the paperwork ready any more until we see them walk in the door.
I need to make some ham and bean soup. That's one of my favorites!

Hi Roz - I am a vinegar junkie - could drink it straight from the bottle. I used to call it winky when I was a child cause it made me wink, but I have always loved it. But I agree with you that I could be happy eating the same things over and over - I just don't seem to care about food anymore. My folks arrived from the States so I've been playing hostess with the mostess and this is the first computer time I've had since Thursday! I'm trying hard to stay on plan but sometimes I find myself slipping into old patterns of behavior because my parents are visiting (for 3 weeks!). It's funny really how my Dad can make me behave like my thirteen year old self within minutes of his arrival. You'd think I've had enough therapy by now to not let it get me - but man I want to stuff my face sometimes! I'm resisting so I guess that's progress. Drinking tons of water as a replacement so that's good....

Vinegar Junkie....That is sooo funny! My Dad used to put vinegar on his french fries...Oh how I cringed when I would get one by accident.
What did your parents think about your weight loss? My Dad passed away when he was very young but I can see myself resorting back to being a kid. My girls are all in their early 30's and they are only recently starting to voice their opinions and I'm not sure I like it....LOL.

We use ranch dressing on our salads and we do eat a lot of salads. It is full fat though. I have made my own and it wasn't bad. I want to say it was from a South Beach diet recipe.

I might have to see if I can find it. I would think you could make something with FAGE. I think I am going to have to force myself to order salad and maybe if I can get over my "fat" obsession I might even enjoy them. I probably don't have enough fat in my diet.

Hi Roz,
Have you ever tried Raspberry Vinegrette? I like the regular better than the lite, but I can eat the lite. It is sweet and doesn't have the oily taste. My NUT told me any vinegrette was better than any creamy even if it had a little sugar in it. I love Ranch dressing and every now and then need it, but I dip my fork in the dressing and then into the salad a trick I learned at WW years ago. You get the dressing taste with a lot less calories.
I'm leaving in the morning and will be gone until Friday night. Going to my other job for the full audit down there. I am a nervous wreck. I still don't have everything together. I've been getting my foods together. Made me some pizza chips to take with me and need to go pack up my protein powders.
