WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!RNY Maintenance
Hello LW's!!!!! I never got to my closets yesterday. I guess I will just have to live out of two until I get around to it. It was a chore shoe shopping with my Mom. They were all too small or too big. Finally there was one that she kind of liked and she said she needed the next size up. I told her that she already tried it on and she said it was too big. We tried on a few more pairs (I felt so bad for the sales clerk) and then I asked him to get me the ones she liked in a different size (same ones) and she said they fit perfect....lol. We put her old shoes in a bag and she wore the new ones to the grocery store and then to church this morning and she said they felt good. That doesn't mean that the next time we go out she doesn't say they hurt or even that she can't find them.
Going to a Halloween party today. 5 of the Grandkids are going. No costumes...just lots of kids games. i made a huge roaster of baked beans. it's only in the mid 50's and pretty windy so i don't know how long we will stay.

Our 3 daughters threw us a surprise 30th anniversary party today. They did a good job of keeping a secret. I did indulge in a little sliver of pie, the first dessert I have had since pre op in January. Wow did it taste overly sweet. i did manage to keep my calorie count where I want it.
