Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!

Happy Sunday LW's!!!!   Off to church soon but I wanted to catch up a little with my LW  friends.  After church I am going to try  one more mall and then I'm going to give up on getting any new tops.  I does help me get some walking in and that is a plus.

Went shopping with DH and got a new winter coat complete with a hood (I never have an umbrella around when it's raining).  I'm getting ready for the cold!! ;-)

I remember buying my first "skinny" coat.  Oh how I loved that coat but it just didn't seem practical for every day.  Last Christmas DH bought me one that I can wear to work but nice enough for church.

Sounds Good!  I'm glad I didn't try the SF custard if it is loaded with fat.  I probably would have fallen in love with it...LOL

You can make the custard with half and half or milk, but being a DSer I went with heavy cream.  I think I'd do better with light cream or half and half in the future.

Happy Sunday Roz -  It's such a drag when we go shopping and are ready to spend and buy and then we strike out.  Frustrating!  I've been running around like I've got my finger in an electrical outlet - DH has been in Japan for 10 days on business and my parents who haven't been here in almost 2 years arrive on Thursday! Not the most relaxing weekend I must say...

B:  Café au lait x 2 cups

B:  Protein yogurt = 38g

L:  2 slices of deli chicken w/ humous - 12g

S:  50g cottage cheese = 10g

S:  Lemon Ice tea protein = 23g

D:  100g Chick pea and pumpkin Korma Curry = 18g

All my water (ok, still working on it but I'll get in +2 litres) and all vitamins

That is a long flight but I'd do it to see one of my DD's.  I am so spoiled to have mine close by.  DD#3 lived in Arizona when her former DH was in the service but plane fair was reasonable then so I got to visit her.  I missed her terribly! 

Are they going to be super surprised about your weight loss?

They know about my surgery and even though I'm down over 50 lbs I don't know if it's that shocking of a difference. They are very happy for me but I think they are so so excited to see their grand kids. I'm a side show event in these visits!
I'll say it again, you are blessed to have everyone close by!
