Eating control tricks we use on ourselves!?
I find myself doing things to put off my next food consumption, especially if I know it is head hunger and not physical hunger that is driving my food craving.
Here is my favorite one:
I get a 20 oz bottle of plain cold water. If when I am done with the whole bottle of water I am still hungry I will eat. It works for me to postpone eating or sometimes eliminate that moment of weakness. Also a great bonus of helping me get my water in LOL
What do you do to help you with eating control?

What I SHOULD do is have another protein coffee or shake.

I got up at 5:15 this morning.... just couldn't stay asleep. I have had a regular cup of coffee and now I am 3/4 of the way thru my bottle of water, (yes, I am using my trick already today) then I will get some breakfast. I didn't want to start eating that early, I would get way to many calories into the day with a head start like that!

I do basically the same thing. I have a 20oz drink before breakfast, before lunch, before snack, after dinner. Works to keep me out of other stuff!!!

I need suggestions. I drink TWO protein shakes mixed with coffee in the morning. That usually holds me off till lunch but I feel obligated to eat lunch even though I'm not hungry. Trying to only eat lunch when it's protein. Or fruit. I need the fruit to help me go to the bathroom. I'm trying. I need to stop eating the offered snacks at work because they are usually carbs. Crackers and stuff like that.
