Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for doing M&M yesterday Linda!!

I took a vacation day yesterday to do some shopping and even though it was nice to browse around and not feel rushed (or swayed to the kids departments) I didn't have much luck in the buying department. I returned  (LOL) far more than I purchased.  I was planning on going to the outlets today but DD asked me to watch the baby.

Per responses to my post  I guess there is no quick (simple) solution to getting rid of the ring of belly fat that has appeared.  Do you think that's why all of the tops in the stores are layered and loose fitting?  They just seem so young for me.  Well soon it will be sweater weather and I usually where a cardigan over my tops because I freeze if I don't so that will help some.

Yes, I tried Spanx on in a store once and IMO it was expensive and just not quick enough to get on and off again.  I've never had an accident since my DS, even in the early days, but if wore Spanx I suspect I could be telling a different story!! ;-)

I had a busy day today, with flu jab, lunching at my parents' house and getting the car washed, but at least I got in a walk today... I'm not so good on the weekend as I like to hibernate - especially this time of year!! ;-)

Dinner turned out remarkably well. Sometimes you got and sometimes you don't. lol  No recipe just throwing together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, white pepper, some chicken broth for the corn starch binder, and just a smallest dash of Chinese 5 spice powder.
