Roz...totally NOT offended!!  I value your and everyone else's input.  I got in the habit of saltine crackers as a snack.....just for the crunch and salt I think.  Seemed to satisfy me....but no more!!  Done with that!!  Yogurt, protein shakes and beef jerky so far today.  I needed to get reeled back in.  I am too early out to mess up....I am totally committed to losing this for life.  So please accept my sincere gratitude for all your post.

Oh - I hear ya!  I love the salty crunchy foods... I wish I dumped on those!  I've never been a big sweet eater, and I DID dump on sugar...

To get a salty "crunch" take some pepperoni slices and microwave or bake them for a short time. They will crisp up and they're like chips you can pick up.

I know all about loving the salty things!  But I also notice that when I have something with high salt content then I stay the same for days after - water retention most likely.  But I thought I'd share my secret salty fix - I mix a teaspoon of Lipton onion soup mix into some plain greek yogurt (the onion bits give it crunch and the onion flavoring gives it a kick), then I spread it on deli meats, or dip yellow pepper slices, etc.  It really saves me from reaching for the bad stuff.  I know it may sound gross, but I think it's delicious!

Good luck!  I'm sure you are shrinking even if you are not loosing pounds.

I had the same 5 week stall but this week I dropped 5 pounds and I didn't change anything.  Stalls will happen throughout this process and I was told just do what your doing and it will fall off eventually.  I love that I haven't had carbs and I intend to keep it that way - makes such a difference not just in losing weight but in my energy level, etc.

Wow that is soooo encouraging!!  Thank you!!  And 5lbs!!!  Holy COW!!  I have never lost 5lb in one drop!!  That's amazing!!  I can only hope!!  I am strictly watching the carbs....didn't realize there was so much in my yogurt as well!!  But anywho...onward...looking for some good results this week!!  Absolutely...no CRACKERS!

Greek yogurt has low carbs and twice the protein. I like Dannon light and fit greek yogurt and it fills me for a good two hours.
