Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!

OK...where are ALL of the posters???? M&M are on top of the list 3 times!!!!

I guess  I'm up early this morning because I just asked DH why he wasn't getting ready for church and he said you told me we were leaving at 9:45 and it's only 8:45.  My alarm went off and I thought it was because it was time to get up and apparently it was a reminder alarm that tomorrow is my Mom's birthday....LOL.  Now I got a whole hour to do what I want without rushing....YEAH!!!

We had a great time at the Rocks yesterday.  Every single one of us forgot our cameras....how dumb!!!!   DD had her IPad and they took a few pictures with their phones.  It rained most of the way there and there were a ton of wet leaves but the kids (big and little) had a great time climbing.  I just had the need to keep reminding everyone that the rocks were slippery but no one seemed to care but me (which is usual..lol).  It was pretty muddy and they were disappointed that they didn't get to go down into the water falls.  DH and the new Step-Granddaughter were the only rebellious ones (I can't control DH and the 8 year old tattled on new sister and she got in trouble for not listening to me from my DD and I felt bad)

I know....I wish we hadn't have waited so late in the year to go.  It's hard working around everyone's schedule.  DD Coaches on Sundays and new SIL works on Saturdays.  We kept putting if off thinking something would change I guess....LOL.

There you go M&M are now nicely broken up on the recent posts - of course that could all change by the time you look!! ;-)

Nice quiet day today - packaging up vits and realizing I can only get high dose K1 from the US!!  I do use Vitalady, but I sometimes do my own ones if I'm running low.

I do hope they open up the de-restricting of trade talks between the US & UK soon.

haha..Yep Liz broke up my triple post.  I've been feeling tired and run down lately and I thought it was from being sick for so long but I just realized I haven't been taking my vitamins and B12 every night so that might be the culprit.

I'm going to try making the Egg Custard tonight if I have enough eggs.  What spices did you put in yours?

Sounds Good!

Happy Sunday Roz - too bad about the crummy weather yesterday for your outing.  Sounds like fun regardless!

Today DH and I are painting the interior stairwell on our recently acquired, 100 yr old beast of a house!  We've got 4 stories -54 steps if you can believe - so this is no mean feat.  My poor knees are killing me!  Not so great eating today - I am battling the head hunger monster as tensions between DH and I mount over this tedious chore!  I keep finding myself in front of the fridge wanting to eat cheese (my downfall) or anything I can reasonable fit in my new pouch!  HORRIBLE!  I caved and ate 2 unnecessary slices of cheese and though I recognize why I was wanting to eat  it's a bit disheartening to see how fragile I still am to this sort of thing.  Big Huge Sigh.....  As my grandma used to say - This too shall pass.

B:  Coffee, Protein powder w/ yogurt = 38g

S:  Cottage cheese = 10g

Evil Snack: 2  swiss cheese slices =6g

Did you buy this house to live in or is it a project?  Do the steps have several landings and go in different directions?  Our DD rented an old house and there were 3 floors and the steps seemed endless!  She was pregnant at the time and I don't know how she did it.  SIL was used to 3 floors so it didn't bother him at all. When they were planning their new house SIL kept saying he wanted a 2 story but after living in our 1 story for 4 years the only steps in their new house are to the basement....lol.

Well at least you chose Protein!  It is disheartening when you crave something..  Personally I think your protein total is a little low so the cheese was a great choice!

Oh we bought it for us to live in!  We are not in love with it - but we are in love with the town. The house we were renting-for +10 years -  was a new build, very modern and convenient, but not a lot of character or charm.  This place is only 1/2 mile down the road from our old home, and while it has character and charm up the whazoo, it is a monster to restore - new heating, plumbing, electrical, plastering, resurfacing of the floors, etc. etc.  I feel like I've been camping in it since we moved in 16 months ago!  The house is divided in half by a central stair case that does have landings between floors to break it up.  But for the first 6 months before we installed a bathroom on the 2 level, I had to walk down all 54 steps to pee in the middle of the night!  Now the stairs don't bother me - we run up and down them like it's nothing. I doubt this is a forever house for us - I can't imagine being retired here or dealing with grandbabies with all these stairs but for this time in our life it works fine - if we could just finish some of these endless projects!
