Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!

Relaxing with my Mint Cookie Protein drink this morning.  After SIL hunts (first day of archery) and GS plays basketball the whole family is going to a place called "Bear Town Rocks".  It was my girls favorite place to go in the fall and now it's their kids who beg to go as soon as the leaves start to change. I wrote about it last fall.  There are huge rocks that you can walk/climb up on and see for miles and it is so beautiful!  Last year was the first year that I was able to go to the top of one and get my picture taken.  We will have a picnic and make lots of memories through pictures.

Cinnamon.  I'm going to try doing one egg and one yolk in the microwave to see how it comes out as it'll become a regular if I can find a quicker way to do it.

Quicker is better for me if you figure it out please let me know.

How much Cinnamon did you add?  I am NOT a cook and strictly go by recipes.

That sounds like a wonderful Sunday outing Roz.  I am so glad you are able to go to the top and be a part of every moment.

Today I ate to quickly and didn't chew enough - first time since surgery - and I have paid for it all afternoon!  So my numbers are low - but I just feel too queasy and yucky to care.  Tomorrow is another day and I will be better about pacing myself!

B:  Protein powder w/ yogurt = 38g

L:  50g of smoked salmon w/ greek yogurt = 25g

S:  Bell pepper slices w/ humous = stuck in my pouch, made me sick all afternoon

D:  Not happening - can't imagine eating again today!

Water and vits ok.  No real miles today

Was the food stuck or did you just feel tight?  Did it go down on it's own?  I have to cut my food up into little bites because I am not very good at chewing especially if we have company and I am talking and absently eating.

Your day started out good!

It eventually went down - not vomiting thank goodness!  Just had one of those moments where I ate like I did pre-surgery and it caught up with me.  I ended up having a protein shake before bed and it went down fine.  Lesson learned.  I will difintitely take your advice and cut up things very small - That should work better for me too!  Thanks Roz!
