My parents like going to the supermarket as a bit of an outing almost. Home deliveries of groceries are quite widely available here and I don't brave the supermarket any more ;-)

I my DS
We actually had a very pleasant time at the grocery store. We switched my Mom to a Dr. who deals with the elderly and she switched all of her meds. She also told me she could have sweets which were a nono with her PCP. The new Dr. said she is 80 years old and her blood work etc. are very good let her enjoy herself. Buying sweets was a major problem when we went to buy groceries. She would beg me for chocolate ice cream and I felt like a mean "parent" denying her. I tried to find SF chocolate but it just doesn't exist in our town but last night she got her ice cream and she was so excited! I am going to check tonight to see if it's all gone already.

Still trying to get caught up some at work, the auditor will be here tomorrow. I'm almost finished with a report that was due 9/20 and then I will need to get things at the other library ready for that audit in November and I'll hopefully have my head above water again!! DH's aunt is still at the nursing home here and I try to see her at lunch and after work so it has been a busy 3 weeks.

My DD is a dreaded Auditor that everyone panics over....LOL. She does "not for profit" agencies but I don't think she has ever mentioned doing any libraries.
How much longer does DH's aunt have to be in the nursing home? She is healing and getting around yet?
I stayed out of the Banana Muffins this morning (Thursday). No matter how much I crave sweets I don't think there is anything I can substitute that won't set me off wanting more.

She goes back to the surgeon next Friday. We are thinking he might release her then. She will have to find someone to stay with her when she goes home because she lives alone.
I love the banana muffins. I put them in the freezer and take out one a day and take it to work with me. It is one of the few things that I am good with eating one.
