Hi Roz!
I'm pretty much sticking to my eating plan. Not many deviations, and none that would totally throw me off-kilter. I hope to get to the office to use the gym today. On Friday I'm having my colonoscopy, so tomorrow is "prep" day so NOT going anywhere!

When I had my colon done the prep was pretty easy. I think I took 4 pills and drank a little but I guess our Drs. have changed the prep and I have heard it is pretty nasty. Once the prep is over the rest is a breeze!

Glad you are feeling better. I don't do well on pain meds or pain.......
Sounds Yummy!
I had wrote and asked you what you thought about the carbquik (good, bad, don't care) and you might have responded but with me not feeling well I kind of fell behind in my posts and I might have missed it. I consider you are low carb expert.

Between you not feeling well and my tooth, I think I missed answering it. I like the carbquick but I really haven't switched over to it for everything for the family. I use it for the cheddar rolls that I can make sandwiches with or use for cheese toast breakfast when I am in a hurry. I just made some more of the cinnamon muffins and they are good but never have been as good as they were the first time because I can't make myself use as much butter as it calls for. They are good when I want something sweet. I do feel like I am cheating when I eat the stuff made with it. I'm too cheap to use it for stuff for the family, LOL. I keep the stuff just for me. I forgot to order more when I ordered protein last time but I have the flour that I haven't opened at all yet. I guess soon it will be time to figure out how to use that.

I rarely eat bread and I am having a hard time accepting this as being low carb. Maybe I enjoy them to much. I feel if I have to talk myself out of wanting something it probably isn't good for me. I actually like the muffins straight from the freezer which doesn't help with control. I just made banana ones and I think they set me up for cravings.
