Protein Coffee

I love coffee and would like  to know how close to coffee the protein coffees taste. Which makes do you use? 

My protein coffee tastes like a Starbucks cinammon dolce latte. 

Protein coffee:

Brew a pot of your favorite coffee. In 20oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2oz of cream, or 1/2 & 1/2, and 2oz of water. Add 1 scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder, a dash of cinnamon, and a packet of Truvia. Cover and shake about 5 seconds. Pour this protein slurry into a hug huge mug and top off with hot coffee. Or, you can carefully pour hot coffee in over the protein slurry in the blender bottle itself.

We each have our own way of making it.  I think the key to if you will like it or not is if you like "stuff" in your coffee or like it black. 

I brew my own decaf and mix the protein to use as a creamer.  These days I am using 1/2 scoop of mint cookie and 1 scoop of vanilla in ho****er, about 2/3 c, then use that for my coffee which is a full 5 c coffee pot, divided between 2 large cups.

The trick is to not mix the protein into very hot liquid since it will curdle. 

I use chocolate, mint cookie, vanilla plain or with some cinnamon, and sometimes add a splash of SF syurp.  You can get pretty creative.

I have ordered the cappichino from Nectar and wasn't thrilled with it.  There are some other coffee flavored protein but I find this easier.

My favorite is Vanilla/Hazelnut protein coffee...

Start with a scoop of vanilla protein powder and use hot tap water to make it into a slurry in the bottom of my favorite mug... add a generous splash of SF Hazelnut syrup... slowly add hot coffee... and wala... yummy hot protein coffee...

YAY - I am so glad you asked about this as I've been wondering the same thing myself!  It's hard to get the Sytrax Nectar's in Europe but I have found that some of the venders on Amazon UK will deliver to mainland Europe as well as Amazon.de.  If you have some in Switzerland that will deliver to Belgium, PLEASE PLEASE send me the link!

Hi Ashley. Due to the fact that Switzerland is not part of the EU, very few vendors deliver here. I am now making use of a US company to ship product to me. I buy from Amazon US and then have it delivered to MyUS.com . You pay a monthly fee. It has worked well so far. Hope this helps.
