Three Years!

Three years!

Well, I am the exact same weight I was last year. YEAH! I thought last year that I had some bounce back weight but I may have been mistaken. It appears that I just weigh three to four pounds less when I am “training” or running races. We will see how it plays out next year.

Blood work is spot on. Eating is normal. I mean normal. I eat what someone my size should. I do not count carbs but I do watch my carb intake and can be heard saying that something has too many carbs. Usually that is met with “You are skinny enough to get away with it.” I respond with “Wrong. Watching carbs is why I am skinny.”

Think of the stereo types that you have for skinny witches. Don’t eat much in one setting but hungry in two hours. In Zumba, it is the person that is working out at a high impact, jumping around. The person complaining that the small clothes are too big. The person that looks good in most things she puts on but cant find a thing to wear. Rolls out of bed to exercise. That’s me!

This has been the year that I have worked on myself esteem. Even though I am wrinkled, have lots of extra skin, am old, single and still have little to no hair, I can look in the mirror (dressed or not) and love the person that is looking back. To me that is the best NSV of all.

I went on a seven day car trip and took flights to various places that I was staying in houses, not hotels. No accidents, no problems just “normal” issues. I did almost “kill” the others in the car with my gas after eating a bag of chips over one day. Oops. And family members did get upset because I refused to eat rice, oatmeal, grits and/or biscuits for breakfast and all those other carbs for other meals.  Or that I would schedule in exercise every day. But they will get over it.

We will see if plastic surgery is in my future. The surgeons I have seen have told me I have too much skin on my butt that is pulling down on my back and causing problems (I literally rip the skin), so I will have to do something or stop exercising (not going to happen). I just don't know yet. Especially, since I almost died after this surgery.

I have an awesome life. It isn’t perfect but it is a lot easier being healthy.

BMI: 21.5

Vitamins: a whole, whole, lot taken everyday six times

Exercise: Almost everyday

Water: lots and more during summer

Stools: Constipated usually, go in morning if I do go, and normal stinky not paint peeling anymore (did a round of Flagyl)

Hair: Not growing back. Still have real thin areas. Have more hair on chin. HA!

I don't know what else newbies might want to know but ask me,  if you have questions. Live life like it is the only one you have.
