Well DH got out of the hospital at 7:00 last night. It was a very loooong night and day. They removed the steak that got stuck the night before at dinner and stretched his Esophagus. They said it had narrowed and was ulcerous. No...he did not have WLS. He just has a problem with narrowing and should have been stretched months ago. Stubborn...is the Best word to describe him. He has to go back in 6 weeks and get stretched some more.

Glad your hubby's OKish now. That must've been scary for him (and you). I've never heard of that condition before. Do they know what causes the narrowing?

I thought I had all of my M&M's caught up but apparently I skipped this day. My DH has been stretched many times. I use to get terrified when he would get food stuck but now that I get stuc****asionally I realize that it doesn't need to be fixed immediately. The Surgeon says he stretches people on an every day basis. He said the day before that he removed a Man's whole meal because he didn't know anything was stuc****il he was full...that sounds odd to me.
A little carby last week I see...LOL

Wow that is scary. I also have never heard of that, is it a common problem?
Today my work scheduled went back to 9 to 5 from noon to 8 so my eating was readjusted. This week has been easy to schedule food, but not so much today (and again tomorrow).
hot chocolate protein - I did a scoop of unjury chocolate splendor with a packet of swiss miss (no sugar, but today in the store I found the low calorie one - didn't know there were different choices) and a bit of powdered milk. Vast improvement over the unjury as hot chocolate with milk I tried earlier this week, but I'm wondering if anyone has favorite better tasting chocolate proteins?
lunch - 1 hardboiled egg and yoghurt
dinner - (here's where it went wrong) - I picked up pre-cooked tilapia and seaweed salad and ate some of that but the seaweed came back up. I think I ate too fast and didn't chew well. I have had it before and been fine. I tend to get in rushes.
Snacks - A protein lemonade (before dinner) and a couple of baby bel light cheeses
a frozen SF chocolate pudding (which calmed my tummy).
No real exercise. Ran to a building and back which maybe equated 10 minutes.

I only have one food that I struggle with every time I eat it and that's scrambled eggs but I have some foods that sometimes go down easily, sometimes get stuck, and other times that make me feel sick. Even at 5 years out I haven't figured out what makes this happen.
