Menus and Miles, Thursday September 19, 2013 for Roz
Good morning everyone. Roz asked me to post for her this morning. She is at the ER with her DH. He got some food stuck and they are going to have to remove it. He has had his esophagus stretched before and they are probably going to do that again. Swing what you have and pray for them. She said he hates doctors and hospitals!!
I have a plan today - do you have a plan?? I usually do better when my food is planned out, even though some days like yesterday get the better of me.
Have you found a way to deal with stress if you used to be a stress eater? I need some help with that right now. I know exercise is they key for me, but just don't have the hours in the day to do it right now. Any ideas??

Talking about a plan? With my mother cooking all my meals, I never know where I'm going to land. Don't get me wrong, I love her cooking. I feel like a little kid again. She's good about balancing. the meals. I'm not so good at avoiding the carbs. I have stuck to my protein bar in the morning and turkey and cheese for lunch. If her dinner is too rich, I just eat less of it. Can't wait to see the 160s.

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
Yikes, I hope Roz's DH feels better soon.
It was raining today so I skipped the lunch time walk - I skipped the muffin too as I don't want to be up at 4am again!! That's the effect that sort of junk can have on my re-routed insides.
How about the 10 Minute Solution series of DVDs? You can buy them from Amazon pretty cheaply.
