Hi ladies, sorry I've been gone so long

Well moving from Denver to Long Island has been a tough one. Going from total independence to living with your parents is tough, as is saying good bye to man I loved very much. Interestingly it has also been tough saying goodbye to environment that was helping the pounds melt away.

So the good and bad news:

  • I still don't have a job, but do have a promising interview on Friday
  • I had hoped to be around 160-165 by now, but I did lose a few more pounds and now I'm at 170.5
  • I said goodbye to Scott and said hello to Marc. We've only been dating a few weeks, he's 12 years older but thinks I'm incredible
  • My meds are stable and so is my bipolar. I have a therapist I see weekly. Not sure about her, but we'll see
  • If I don't kill my parents it will be more than a small miracle :)

You sound like you are well under way.  That is great news.

And good news on Marc, cause we all need someone who thinks we are incredible.  That is so much better than dating and loving someone who doesn't feel the same way - that becomes soul sucking after a while.

Your job interview is going to be wonderful.  And yea, if I had to move back in with my parents, I would be spending all my time exercising, seeing friends, exploring the city, getting more exercise, making new friends, did I mention exploring?  I would not be home a lot.  :-)

I will be thinking about you this Friday....  good luck.
