Hot tea did not agree with me for a few months post op It was one of the few things that made me nauseated. I am allowed to have decaf, white, green and herbal teas. Must be the white and green have less caffeine. Preop I couldn't stand decaf tea. but now I really like it. haven't had any regular coffee or tea since six months pre op, and really don't miss them surprsingly. There is alot of debate about whether we should have caffeine or not, but I figure, since i have gone cold turkey and survived, why start again.
