Good Friday Everyone,

Well...the weekend is finally here.   I know LOTS are so grateful for that today...but you should be grateful everyday of the year.    We should be grateful everyday for our eyes opening to a beautiful world.and for the air that we breath.   I am grateful for all of that and so very much more.    My family is my life and I am SO very grateful for everyone of my family members.    I am so grateful for my precious one year old granddaughter.   She IS the light of my life.    She has been taught sign language since she was about 5 months old and can now sign about 27 words.     I love when she sees me and her face lights up.    It's something when a child that young can do something that her grandmother can't do.   LOL  She teaches me new words every time I see her.     LOL Such a special child.    Grateful for my WLS so I can get on the floor and play with her and run after her...there is no way that would have ever happened before my WLS.   Grateful for the life and all the opportunities that my WLS have given me.   I am TRULY grateful everyday for the opportunity given to me by my WLS.    PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a safe and wonderful weekend.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Well I'm always happy when it's a Friday.  I'm also grateful for my DS and OH and all the great input on here.

Is your DGD deaf or is just learning to sign anyways?  I know these days some kids learn to sign who aren't deaf.

Hi Huneypie.   No my granddaughter isn't deaf.   My DIL has a degree in sign language and she has proved a point that babies can sign when they can't talk.   TIgerlily has signed words since about 5 months old.    She is very smart ( she really is...I'm not just saying that ).  LOL    Have a blessed weekend my friend.

Yes I've heard about kids being able to sign before they can speak and I think that's fascinating.
