WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!
I'm finally back to work today. Apparently I have a kidney infection and the antibiotics seem to be working because I'm not in as much pain. I've been eating and getting my Protein in but I haven't had much appetite but today I feel like I am an empty pit and the starving feeling just won't go away and it is a very nauseating feeling.

Yikes, a kidney infection - I've dodged having one of those to date.
I tried some 'supposedly' flavored cod liver oil and all I can say is yuck!! The Vitalady stuff is DEFINITELY much much better!! I enjoyed the effect of the olive oil I had the other day, just not the taste and I was hoping for better with the cod liver oil... oh well, I'll be having this for several weeks!! :-S

I seem to go if I have my popcorn every night. I know it's bad but I quit taking my multi vitamin and that has helped too. I still take my D, A and B12.
Sounds Good!

Oh Roz - that sounds painful and tiring to say the least. My husband takes a three week course of antibiotics every 6 weeks for a chronic illness ****reated Lyme Disease) and he swears by pro-biotics as well as eating solid protein to help with the nausea. Don't know if that will help any but thought I'd put that out there...
For me I had my second visit to the GYM - whew am I out of shape. And saw my nutritionist for my 5 week post-op - cleared to eat solids and everything else looks good :)

Should I use regular greek yogurt or something like activia? That's shame you had to miss your exercising and now you will have to miss it next week too.

Any yogurt should help.
At least next week we are at 10 instead of late in the day.

if you eat yogurt on antibiotics Roz the medicine will just kill the active cultures in the yogurt not in your system . You take the probiotics a few days AFTER you take the last antibiotic ( they work 48 hours )
