Wow, everything it says I've been doing.  It's a good thing I don't listen to "conventional" thinking and follow my instincts as far as what is good for me to eat.  I know what makes me healthy and feel good and I don't care what experts have to say about it.

OY !  well I think y'all know i TOTALLY  disagree with all these myths and today;s  trend  for  forever increasing protein intake.  

 

MY bottom line is -  i want STRAIGHT  posture , hard abs , to look easily  two decades younger than my age in the harshest sunlight in a totally  unforgiving bikini ... I want LOTS of hair , great nails n skin, ALL my teeth (  oh shall me mention HEALTH ?   like young people really WORRY about that lol )  Do i really NEED  to mention  keeping all my ORGANS  lol ?

Noone has given me stock in rice n beanz  companies ... nor in fresh veggies .. but have you ever really  FELT  how you feel after eating fast food ?!! indecisionsurprise

 

I hate to agree with that  dense ugly hag  Jennifer Aniston on ANYTHING ..  but her comments on the way she felt after eating  fast food were too funny and right on... 

its addictive , its like putting " gasoline " in a  " refined " system .. it sits like a huge LUMP in the bottom of Ur stomach and makes U feel sick and unfunctional all day and then crave MORE fast food the NEXT day

I agree, refined carbs are pretty bad but I don't feel all carbs are bad.  I try to make sure the carbs I take in are all pretty much in their natural state, like from fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and dairy.  It's when things are taken out and/or added that the carbs seem to cause me trouble.  I do 90% of my shopping in the produce, meat and dairy aisles.  Very little from the frozen section or other aisles except the pet section and cleaning section or the bulk section.  I remember a time when I never went near the produce or meat section and did all my shopping from the frozen food section, canned goods and cereal aisle.  When I shopped at all.  I usually just went through the drive thru.

Wheat and most carbs do bad things to my insides - hence my calling them evil, he he!! ;-)

Good Article!  I am scared for our LW's who are counting calories and including more carbs than Protein.  It will work during the losing stage but I think they will struggle when the honeymoon period is over.  Carbs make you crave more carbs.
