Slow loser?

I am 7 weeks out from VSG. And it seems that nothing is happening. I seem to lose about a pound a week. I am following my surgeon's plan. I am disappointed in my weight loss. Is it true that lightweights lose slower?

No it's NOT true...not as a general group. While each of us is individual, as a group we lose AS fast as our heavyweight brethren and WE tend to lose all our excess.

I may get 5-10 carbs a day. Eating lots of protein no fruit. Thanks for the suggestion.

First off a pound a week is good and LW's usually get to goal rather quickly because we don't have as much to lose.  Those are pounds that you will probably never gain back.

I would love it if you started posting your daily  menu on Menus and Miles.  Sometimes it takes a few other people looking at what you are eating and give suggestions.  Not all surgeons plans work for everyone.  Sometimes you need to make a plan that better suits you.
