Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!

Rough night and little sleep.  DD#1 stayed over with her two little ones and DD#3 left her two boys here because she is working out of town.  The two that DH and I were responsible for took turns waking up and needing entertained.  Of course DH kept track of the one that was taking his turn sleeping....LOL.  Now we are off to basketball camp...fun times!

I did decent at the Italian restaurant.  I had 1.5 slices of thin Italian bread but that was the only "bad" carbs I had.  I had wedding soup and only ate a few bites of one of the meatballs I ordered.  I would have loved some kind of stuffed shells but resisted the temptation.

I've had a quiet day today, a little tidying up but nothing major.  Autumn's definitely on it's way now as I'm wearing long sleeves.

I just don't want to see the scales go up!!  Before WLS I heard all of the horror stories of people so and so knew who gained their weight back.  I ALWAYS have those stories in the back of my mind and I don't want to be the subject of one.

Once you let the carbs back in your life it's way to hard to go back !!!!!!

Wow Roz - you are super Grandma!  Makes me wish my Mom wasn't 10k miles away so I could drop off my boys and escape for a bit!  Sounds exhausting, but lovely.  

Today was a better day eating wise for me, both in reality and in my head.

B:  Café au lait + Activia yogurt w/ half scoop protein powder = 30g

S:  Lemon Ice tea protein shake = 23g

L:  Carrot soup = 6g

S:  Lemon Ice tea protein shake = 23g

S:  50g cottage cheese = 8g

D:  30g of slow cooked chicken w/carrots mashed together = 10g ?

2+ litres of water and all vitamins done.  Lots of walking and shopping and standing......

All 8 of my grandkids live within 10 minutes so it is rare for me to see "watch" at least half of the younger ones even if it's just for a hour or so.  They definitely keep me busy but I wouldn't want it any other way.  Night times are the worse though because DH CAN'T go without sleep so I'm the one who has to do it.
