Hello Everyone -
I am new to this board and need a little accountability to help me stay the course! I am a month post-op from by wonderful upgrade from a Lap Band to bypass. Things are going great so far - just want to make sure it stays that way. As I am in Belgium I've had my full day so here it goes:
RNY Revision: 4 weeks Post-Op Mushie Phase
B: Green Tea (300ml) x 2 B: Activia Nature Yougurt w/ ½ scoop protein powder = 160 cal / 30g protein
Snack: Cranberry Tea (300ml) + 500ml Water + Multi-Vitamin
L: 50 gr Ricotta (full fat) + 20gr of Pumpkin Curry Purée = 110 cal / 5g protein
Snack: Lemon Tea Protein Drink (300ml) = 100 cal / 23 gr protein 500ml water + Green Tea (300ml) + Multi-vitamin
D: Slow cooker Ratatouille with Ricotta Dumpling (65gr) = 125 cal / 6g protein
Snack: Green Tea (300ml)
Total: 395 cal / 64 gr protein Water/Fluid = 2.8L /100oz
Moves - Walked 2k, grocery shopped, laundry etc..
Thanks for having me in the group! Ashley

Thanks - getting vitamin D from the US is just so EXPENSIVE (shipping and customs virtually double the cost).

I obviously don't know the details of your Vit D issues, but as an FYI I order my dry Vit D 3 from BulkPowders in the UK. Maybe that can work for you? I am struggling to find the various vitamins we need post-op and here in Belgium they tend to be in horse pill size or nasty liquid so I am hunting for UK sites that will deliver here. Otherwise I depend on my American family visiting with a suitcase full!
Thanks for the suggestion, although this one works out cheaper for vit D http://www.amazon.co.uk/Biotech-Vitamin-D3-50-50-000/dp/B000 A0F2B2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378405506&sr=8-1&keywords=bio tech+vitamin+d3+50%2C000+iu as I take 50,000 iu and the highest strength Bulk Powders do it 5,000iu. The Biotech vit D tabs aren't too big.
This place is in the Netherlands and may work out cheaper shipping wise for you http://www.wls-proteinedieet.nl/supplementen/vitamines/vitam ine-d Dr Himpens gave me their details but I don't think they have the right stuff for a DSer. They may be suitable for you as an RNYer though.

Thanks for the great info. The link to the Netherlands does have a DS specific multi-vit that might tide you over between Vitalady orders! 34€ isn't too bad! Here is the link: http://www.wls-proteinedieet.nl/supplementen/vitamines/multi-adek-speciaal-supplement-voor-ds-patienten
Welcome aboard!! : )
